What can I expect during my first appointment?

To start things off, one of our hygienists will perform a brief oral exam before carrying out a full cleaning. During the cleaning, the hygienist will utilize special tools to scrape away plaque and tartar buildup, after which they will clean, polish, and floss your teeth.

Once your teeth are free of debris, they are ready for Dr. Sandhu to perform a comprehensive oral exam. He will inspect your mouth for signs of cavities, gum disease, and other possible complications. As a new patient, he will likely recommend a set of x-rays to round out your dental profile. New x-rays should be taken every few years, and will allow Dr. Sandhu to see what’s going on under the surface of your teeth to get a clearer picture of the state of your oral health. Once he has a complete grasp on your dental situation, he will outline a personalized treatment plan for you moving forward.

Will my insurance be accepted?

Is my treatment going to hurt?

How long has Dr. Sandhu been practicing?

Dr. Sandhu has been practicing dentistry since 2012. He graduated from the Dental School at Boston University, and returned home to Southern California, where he practiced as an associate before deciding to open his own practice.
